Artisans

Our artisans are mostly from the Newar community who are expert in Art and Craft work. Their generations to generations have been involved in art work traditionally. Newar are originally from the Kathmandu valley that includes mainly 3 historic cities Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur which are all full of artistic monuments and palaces created by Newar craftsmen dating back to 12th century.

Nepal is a landlocked country situated between China and India. Nepal has natural assets such as snowy mountains and hills in the north, greenary and jungles in the south and beautiful lakes, caves, falls and rivers in the middle part of the country. The capital city, Kathmandu lies in the centre. It is known in the world for art and culture. Nepal is a multi-ethnic and multi-lingual country. The main ethnic group in the Kathmandu valley are Newars. Most of our products are made by Newars in authentic designs of Nepal and Tibet.
